A few better quality pictures of the final wallpaper design.

During our End Of The Line project we had a wallpaper workshop. We were asked to take an image we had been using for our stamp design and create a repeat pattern.
I decided to keep my design simple due to the time i had but i really enjoyed the process. I'm keen to take this workshop further and to incorporate screen printing more in future projects.

To take advantage of the strange on/off weather we had on Wednesday, i put my stencils on my window to see how they would work when the sun shone through them.
They worked alot better than i had expected, in some of them the reflection is more effective than the stencil itself. I am definitely going to take this through to my final stamp design.

Handmade Nation really opened my mind to the craft based community that is still around and growing. This film showed the insights of American Art,Craft and Design, from knitting to screen printing. It was really useful and interesting to see how they sell their work successfully and how much time and effort really goes into some of their pieces, which makes it a lot more appreciative and unique for anyone that was to buy a handmade piece of art, clothing, jewelry etc.

These are some amazing paperworks by Andreas Kocks, he also does sculptures and watercolor pieces but the paperworks are definitely mind blowing and look fantastic where they are placed.
For those who are lucky enough to be going to New York before April 4th, his work is being displayed there at the Art & Design museum.
