To finish off my project I made my fabric prints into bunting to connect with my Carnival theme. I'm really happy with the result and overall I my self directed project has been a success which has given me more confidence to continue this into my final year.

I decided to redo my Prep for Level 6. I'm really glad I did because my grid layout is a lot better than before and I added a few of my own illustrations to make it more personal.
Here are a few of my favourite pages from the book. Enjoy!

To keep all my fabric designs together I made myself a sample book. I am definitely going to get into a routine of doing this with future fabrics I print as its a really tidy way to keep work and easy to refer back to if I want to go back and print it again.

Final fabric prints! They all came out really well on the final print and will hopefully be made into some bunting to keep with the carnival theme.

In the end I printed 4 different colour combinations on each colour fabric. The background when made white came out great and all the colours work perfectly on the blue fabric.I'm glad that the ink worked with the colour fabric because this works a lot better with my carnival theme rather than having the design just on white fabric, with not a lot of variation.

First to sort out a white screen for fabric prints then away I go!

These are just a few of the paper prints I started with. The pattern worked together a lot better than i thought and it helped me to correct some colours. For instance the yellow was way to light it was nearly unnoticeable on a few prints. It will be interesting to see how the colours work on each other and also adding white as well......
