Carnivals are very much known for their crowds of people and I really want to include this within my design.Although without drawing individual people, I've tried by representing them with dots to create a background pattern or one that could be combine with the more detailed line drawings to mix up the imagery style a bit.
I've also tried out a simple repeat pattern of drums. I got the colours from the finger print people I made to see how the colours would work with each other in a different context and how easy it made the pattern to the eye.
